Want to see change in your marriage? There is no better and more effective way then to pray for your spouse to feel the presence of God in his or her life. And your prayers play a big part!
There was a time in our own marriage when we found ourselves heading in different directions.
This wasn’t because we were in the middle of a bad marriage, even though we’ve certainly been there too, it actually happened without our even knowing it was happening.
We had three young kids, a home under construction, bills to pay, and so many other things stealing our focus, and more importantly, our time together.
We were drifting apart and disconnecting simply because we stopped being intentional with our time together.
We had dreams of date nights and mini getaways, thinking surely they would serve as a time to catch up, relax, and have fun together; but it turns out, when you’re just trying to survive every day life and not communicating regularly you never find the time to actual make any plans!
If someone would have told us what a difference just 10 minutes of focused time together a day would make, we could have gained back years of connection, and not to mention, years of having a less chaotic home.
